Halsey Home, Eustis Street

Built by the Halsey family in 1894, this outstanding brick Queen Anne-style home has remained basically unchanged through the years. The house has always been in the Halsey family and its present owners are Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Halsey, Jr. The house has beautiful cherry interior woodwork throughout and is handsomely furnished. In the early 1980's a brick and wrought iron wall was added along the Lincoln Street side and a courtyard added on the west side of the house. Sketched by Lee Harless, Jr. in 1987.
