BRADLEY-DARWIN HOME, ca. 1857, McClung Avenue
Front rooms were added to a much older two room house removed from the William Pope property to its present location. Joseph Bradley bought it for his sister-in-law, Adeline Bibb Bradley, daughter of Gov. Thomas Bibb. Dr. James L. Darwin bought the house from the Bradley family in 1911. His artist-wife and their talented children contributed greatly to the cultural heritage of the city.
