Booth-Crowson Home, Randolph Street

This colonial revival style house stands on the site of the Huntsville Female Seminary, built in the 1830's. A.M. Booth tore down the seminary building and used many of the salvaged materials to construct in 1912 this turn-of-the-century house. Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence B. Crowson, the present owners, recently have completed extensive renovations to the house. Sketched by Lee Harless, Jr., 1987.
