"Huntsville Manufacturing Company, located in west Huntsville. Originally known as the Merrimack Mill, the factory was constructed in 1899 and the surrounding mill village grew with 279 houses, a hospital, school, company store and other small businesses. In 1920, the steam-operated mills converted to electricity. Lowenstein fabrics bought the mill in 1946, changing its name to Huntsville Manufacturing Co., and the village became Huntsville Park.
