LANE-COOPER HOME, Adams Street

This charming raised cottage on Adams Street is known as the Lane-Cooper home, ca. 1837. It was probably built by William McDowell (who is also credited with building its neighboring McDowell-Chase-Falt home, ca. 1848). The scene was painted by Louise Marsh in 1966.
