Original late Victorian house on this lot burned long ago. Was similar to 419 Eustis. See 1913 Sanborn Map. 423 was also similar, but was remodeled in 1942 to be 2-story "Colonial", by Paul Speake, Arch. & moved back on the lot 10-15' to covera a new basement. 421 was bought Oct. '97 for a new house site. (HJAC - '97)
