FIGUERES-RYAN HOUSE, Randolph Street
Disguised by a massive brick porch for most of the 20th century, this lovely George Steele Federal house waited to be lovingly unmasked and renovated. It was the home of William B. Figueres, editor of the newspaper, Southern Advocate, during part of the 19th century. Artist Harvie P. Jones has pictured it.
