GROVE-BASSETT-YOUNG HOME, Franklin Street
Built before 1819, probably by Samuel Cruse, this house has been occupied by the Bassett family and its descendants continuously since the second quarter of the 19th century. Especially noteworthy is the entrance door and woodwork and the four beautiful fanlights in the front hall. Painting by Albert Lane.
