Brooks-Yu Home, Adams Street
This Dutch colonial home was built in 1965 by the Brooks family. It served as the residence of the University of Alabama-Huntsville's president, Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin Graves until 1979. In 1986, it became the home of Dr. Peter S.K. Yu and his family. Dr. and Mrs. Yu have done extensive landscaping to restore the gardens to their former beauty. Sketch is by Lee Harless, Jr., 1988.
