Twickenham Tables

Twickenham Tables is a cookbook that was published by the Twickenham Historic Preservation District Association in 1988. In addition to hundreds of recipes, it contains drawings of Twickenham houses and scenes by local artists such as Lee Harless, L. Trice Hinds and Albert Lane, as well as descriptions of the houses.

McClung-Griffith Home, McClung Avenue

This beautiful home, with its galleries on the east and north sides, evokes the style of the Gulf Coast. It was built in 1838 by Colonel James W. McClung, a legislator, house speaker, state senator and candidate for governor. The present owners are Dr. and Mrs. R. Parker Griffith. Sketched by Lee Harless, Jr., 1987.
