• "Peter Ferrante, founder of JIT Services Inc., has sold a controlling interest in the company and several related companies to Mountain Group Capital, LLC, a Nashville-based investment fund (MGC).Mr. Ferrante founded JIT in 1990 and since then the company has experienced fourteen years of continuous growth, serving the automotive, heavy-duty truck, appliance and consumer electronic industries with state of the art, just in time, vendor managed inventory services. Today the company employs just over 140 people in eight locations serving customers from the Mexican border to Kokomo, Indiana. The company has approximately 100 employees in Huntsville and Hartselle. Mr. Ferrante commented, 'I am proud of the accomplishments and quality of service JIT has been able to provide to our customers. I decided the time was right to seek additional support to keep the company well-positioned to continue meeting the needs of the customers responsible for our success and growth.' Pete Ferrante will continue to play an active role with the company as a consultant, equity owner, and member of the Board of Managers. In 1985, Chrysler transferred him to their Electronics Division in Huntsville, AL. He remained at Chrysler as Operations Manager until 1990, at which time he left to pursue his own business. Peter currently is 100% owner of J.I.T. Services, Inc. of Huntsville, AL. J.I.T. Services is one of the largest distributors of electronic components in the southeast. Peter is also 50% owner of J.I.T. International whose headquarters are located in Brownsville, TX and part owner of J.I.T. - Heritage

• Josephine, Peter's wife, died in September of 1994 from lung cancer. "The library at St. John the Baptist Catholic School was dedicated in her memory on October 16, 1996. A plaque and portrait stand in remembrance of her on site at the school library." - Heritage
