•  "Dr. Denton served his Orthopedic Specialty Residency at Charity Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana. He is former Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Medical College of Alabama. His initial practice was in Birmingham, being engaged there from 1950 to 1956 as Orthopedic Surgeon. Since 1956, he has practiced in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Denton is a member of the Board of Clinic for Rehabilitation of Children and Adults, Huntsville. He is a Director for Lake Association, Incorporated. He is a member of Theta Chi social fraternity, and of Phi Chi fraternity. He holds membership in American, Alabama, and Madison County Medical Associations; the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Denton is a member of the Masonic Order. He served in the United States Army Medical Corps from 1944 to 1946, being promoted from First Lieutenant to Captain. He is of the Protestant Faith. Golf, swimming and fishing comprise his recreations." - Grove
