     Mr. Gill was a native of Huntsville, son of the late Sterling D. Gill and Ida Mae Edminson Gill. He graduated from West Huntsville High School, the University of North Alabama, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Gill was a retired Huntsville realtor. He served as a member of the First Christian Church of Huntsville for many years.
     He is survived by three children, Patricia Gill Van Laningham and husband Tom of Atlanta, Carol Gill Hunter and husband Andrew of Arlington, Va., and Michael Gill of Huntsville; grandchildren Gregg, Katie and Kimberly Van Laningham and Monique Adam, Sarah and Alex Hunter; dear friend, Gail Chadwell of Birmingham and her family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends." - Find A Grave
