     "Sarah Bratton Goodrum, 83, of Huntsville died Wednesday at her home at Carlton Cove. Sarah met her husband, John, in Vicksburg in 1947, where she was a caseworker for the American Red Cross. John and Sarah were married the following year, May 22, 1948. John and Sarah were married for 56 years before his death last Thanksgiving. Survivors include her son, John C. Goodrum Jr. of Huntsville; daughter, Susan G. Hayden of Huntsville; and grandchildren, Joshua M. Hayden of Nashville, Jonathan C. Hayden of Washington, D.C., and David N.
