•  Supervisor of Public Roads 1904-1905
     "Act 438, 1895, authorized the county governing body to appoint a Supervisor of Public Roads who would oversee construction and maintenance of roads in the county. The initial appointment was made in 1898. By local act of 1907 the legislature provided that the Probate Judge would appoint the Supervisor, while local Act 144 of 1911 provided that the Probate Judge would make the appointment for a four year term. The office was discontinued, being replaced by the County Engineer." - Record 2
