•  1940 Census lists her as living with Louis Grabensteder in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They have two young children. And her parents, David & Lillian Garvin are living with them. Her husband is listed as an Electrical Engineer and her father is listed as a Manager for an Iron Furnace. Neither she or her mother have employment listed. Both of her parents list New York as their state of birth. - 1940 Census

•  Served as Secretary of the Huntsville-Madison County Girl Scout Council. - Taylor

•  Lollie Grabensteder served as hostess at the foreign student event held by the Council for International Visitors at Redstone Arsenal Feb. 8, 1963. - Easterling

•  Huntsville Rotaryann Club Charter Member (May 25, 1955) and was president 1959-60. - Easterling
