Born Nov. 12, 1893 - Died Nov. 6, 1909. Sister. Obituary: The Gurley Herald. “ Miss Annie Nichols, 16 year old daughter of William Nichols of New Hope, died at Athens last Saturday. She was the second of the typhoid fever epidemic that recently developed in the Athens Female College. The remains were shipped to Gurley Sunday morning and conveyed to New Hope where interment was made in the family burying ground.
