Bush Cemetery Note: The following information was supplied by Mrs. Norman Shapiro [nee June Turner.] Mrs. Monroe died after this cemetery survey was made Monroe. Myrtle Marie Colbern Monroe. Born 7 July 1905 - Died 8 July 1985. [Her mother was Martha Etta Watson Colbern.] Note: The following are obituaries of persons who were buried in the Bush Cemetery but who either died after the survey was made or are here without tombstones. Richard Lowe Russell. Richard Lowe Russell, 85, of Route 1, Owens Cross Roads, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Galilee Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Stone, the Rev. Roland Lee and the Rev. Lamar McGriff officiating. “Burial will be in the Bush Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge. “Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Bertha Pritchett of New Hope and several nieces and nephews.” Lee Allen Russell. Lee Allen Russell, 67, of 214 Russell Drive died Tuesday at Huntsville Hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Oakbowery Methodist Church with James Harris and Roland Lee officiating. “Burial will be in Bush Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge. “Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulaw Gibbs Russell; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Merrell and Mrs. Avie Green both of Huntsville; a brother, Thomas Russell of New Hope; two sisters, Mrs. Jammie Maples of Owens Cross Roads and Mrs. Elizabeth Baker of Mississippi; and four grandchildren.” Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Location: Section 10-6-1E - NE SE SW. On Hobbs Island Road behind the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. 119 - (1102)
