Location: Section 28-6-2E NE NE SW NE At foot of Mayo Mountain. Alvie Lemley took me to this cemetery in a four-wheel drive vehicle.

RICE CEMETERY
Location: Section 18-6-2E SW SE SE
Mr. Alvie Lemley took me to this cemetery in a four-wheel drive vehicle. We counted a total of 57 graves, of which most were unmarked. There may be more than that as there may have been some we were unable to discern as graves. The last burial was Russell Meeks and he is in an unmarked grave.

Professed religion in 1839 at Mt. Pleasant Camp Ground. Joined C. P. Church.
Married 31 May 1842 to
John T. Haden.
In deed book EEE, page 81, is a deed dated 11 June 1877. In this deed is a cemetery cxccption as follows: “. . . except twenty feet square being the interment of Mary Ann Haden, wife of John T. Hadcn.”
John T. Haden was married three times:
1. Elizabeth Lamberson married 23 October 1833. (Had three children by her).
2. Mary Ann Miller, married 31 May 1842. (Had six children by her)
3. Clamenza J. Pickens,
married 15 September 1853.
