The farm owner told Ann Cochran he thought this was an “old Indian cemetery” so they built over it. In this author's humble opinion, all burial sites are sacred and that includes Indian burial grounds. KENNEDY CEMETERY Location: Section 7-3-2E, W/2 E/2 NE SW This cemetery is very near the Henry Rigney Cemetery in the same section. All three tombstones are imbedded in trees whose trunks have grown around them and hide the inscriptions.
