We revisited this cemetery in about 2006. It had been cleaned off and nicely kept. We were able to discern several sinks, without markers, at the top of the hill which were covered with Vinca Minor. These may have been the earliest graves and may contain the remains of the King family.
WORLEY CEMETERY
Location: Section 10-5-2E. E/2 NE NE SE SE. On west wide of road of old New Hope-Gurley Pike (now called James Mann Pike). The Huntsville Times state the cemetery is located on Cave Springs Road.
When I visited this grave the stone had fallen and was lying on its back between two cedar trees. It was surrounded by a cotton field. The Huntsville Times published a beautiful photograph of this tombstone November 28, 1976 when it was upright.
