Cloud Cemetery
Cloud Cemetery
Location: Section 26-6-1E in Cloud's Cove.
Note: In all cases, if you must cross private land to get to a cemetery, it is imperative to go to the nearest house and ask for permission to cross the land. To get to the Cloud Cemetery we went to the nearby Conward “Connie” Cloud home and was granted that permission. It had rained and after going through the large field gate we discovered a huge pig wallow (occupied!) blocking our way. Back to the house! Mr. “Connie”Cloud had to walk down to the gate and shoo the pigs away so we could get through.
Nannie M. Cloud Born Mar. 20, 1850 Died Oct. 16, 1898 Lord, she was thine and not my own, Thou hast done me no wrong.

Note: There are three unmarked graves next to Chassie. They are believed to belong to Chassie's first wife and her child (names unknown.) Both died in childbirth. The third grave belongs to the 1st child (died in childbirth). of Chassie and Bunie
