Thomas A. “Gus” was a son of Robert Woody & Mattie Schrimsher.
Obit of Thomas Woody from Huntsville News of Sept. 30, 1968:
“Thomas A. Woody, 81, Brownsboro, Ft. 1, died at his residence Saturday.
Funeral services will be Monday 2 p.m. at the Beach Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Anderson and the Rev. Charles V. McCay officiating. Burial will be at the Jenkins Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Olivia P. Woody; one nephew, Robert E. Woody; one great niece, Phillis Woody; one great nephew, Doug Woody; and a number of cousins.
He was a member of the Beach Grove Methodist Church for over 60 years, a steward and Sunday School teacher for a number of years and lived in Little Cove all his life.
Pallbearers will be Charles P. Butler, Darwin Perkins, Eugene Perkins, Joe Benny Woody,
Robert Sublett, Wilson Brazelton, and Joe Cochran.
The body will remain at the Laughlin Funeral Home until one hour prior to the service.”

Nancy married Thomas Alred who went by the name of “Bush” Woods.
Next to Nancy was a rectangular, aboveground tomb but there was no lettering visible. It is unknown who is buried in this very old grave.
