BRIAR FORK CHURCH CEMETERY (12) LOCATION: Sec. 28-1S-1W. NW NE SW. This cemetery is located next to the Briar Fork Primitive Baptist Church. On the front of the church is a sign which says the church was organized in October, 1821. It would appear that there were burials in this cemetery from the time of the church's organization. There are many unmarked graves and numerous graves with ancient slate markers which have weathered away.
