A cautionary note to any future researcher of the Graham family on arsenal lands: there are two different Nancy Grahams who were pioneers of the arsenal lands, and they lived close to one another, as well as being contemporaries. The other Nancy Graham was born as a Graham, not married into that name. She married in 1849 at age 17 to Abraham Beadle, who was 72 at the time. Abraham was childless, having been deserted by his first wife, Susan Grimes. It was reported in the divorce petition that
