April 5, 1832 Died in Erie on Saturday the 31st of March last after a short illness, ELEONORA EDGERLY, second daughter of Mr. D(ANIEL) W. and Mrs. E(LEANORA) K. EDGERLY, aged 18 months. June 4, 1836 Married in Clarksville, Tennessee Wednesday the 11th instant, Mr. JOHN M'GINNIS of this place to Miss MARTHA MATLEY of the former place. Died in this place on Wednesday last after a long and severe indisposition, Mr. JOSIAH DOWNING, an old and respected inhabitant of this town. Died at the residence of Mr. WILLIAM BREWER in Sumter County on the 28th instant, Mr. JOHN D. SMITH, Senior editor of the Sumter Gazette in the 23d year of his age. He was a native of Maine and a young man of great talents... July 2, 1836 Married in this place on Thursday evening last by HENRY WATSON, Esq. Mr. DAVID K. "I think I have located the father of DAVID KALIAH or (KELITA) WOODALL. DAVID m. ELIZ. BYARS in Greene Co. Ala. 1736 where that that MASTIN WOODALL (shown on most records as MARTIN WOODALL) is the father. MASTIN lived in Johnston Co. N.C. was m. there ca 1795 (Marriage rec. not dated) to JUDITh GILES. He rec'd land grants around 1800 & bo't several tracts. He sold all of his land at different times, the last being in 1815. DAVID named his 1st son JOSEPH MASTIN WOODALL. This from a Family Bible. MASTIN had a son in right age bracket to be DAVID. Was MASTIN ever in Ala?" 18. - (3318)
