Our former citizen, Mr. JOSEPH ARRINGTON, now of Coahoma Co. Miss, is on a visit to Livingston. November 2, 1876 Died on the 17th, the infant daughter of LEWIS and EMMA MCLEAN aged 4 months and 6 days... Mr. JOSEPH PATTON was born in N.C. Dec. 20, 1797 and died at his home in Sumter Co. Ala. Oct. 20, 1876. His parents emigrated to Tennessee about 1808 and thence came to Alabama in 1811 and settled in Washington Co. He spent the early part of his life in Mobile, Baldwin . and Marengo Counties. In the winter of 1831, he moved to Sumter Co. where he continued to reside until his death. On account of privations of new and unsettled country he was deprived of early educational advantages .. .Methodist Church at Brewersville in 1847...He leaves an aged widow and several children among them, REV. J(AMES) M. PATTON... November 10, 1876 Married at the residence of Mr. JOSEPH JENKINS on the 1st, by REV. J.M. PATTON, Mr. J.C. ARRINGTON and Miss W.A. JENKINS, all of Sumter Co. Ala. Died Sept. 19, 1876, S.C., Jr. son of S.C. and SUSIE COLEMAN, aged 2 years and 7 months. Notice to Non-residents - TO: PATTON T. BLACKSHEAR, MATTIE 0. PARKER wife of JAMES PARKER, NANNIE K. SCRUGGS (lA-son of J DIAH L.) of Livingston and Miss ETTA HOUSTON of Mobile. Died on the morning of 4 Nov., GEORGE MONETTE, son of RICHARD and MARY E. FELDER, aged 2 years 3 months and 25 days. Died on morning of Nov. 19 at 3:15, MOLLIE E., wife of RICHARD FELDER and daughter of CAPT. J.W. and EMMA MONETTE and niece of L. BREWER, Esq.
