Mr. FULLER will be remembered here as having formerly had charge of the Railroad Depot at this place. THOMAS J. BALLARD of Pickens County was killed on the 5th. July 29, 1870 Married on the 27th at the residence of the bride's parents by REV. C. B. DuBOSE, Mr. R. CHAPMAN, JR., Esq. and Miss KATE SCRUGGS, all of this place. August 5, 1870 HON. GEORGE D. SHORTRIDGE died at his residence at Montevallo on the 27th. Died at his residence in Choctaw County on the 23rd, ALLEN C. WALTERS, former Capt, of Co. "E", 43rd Regiment Alabama Volunteers of C.S.A. August 23, 1870 Married on the 18th at the residence of Mr. R. A. PAYNE by REV. C. B. DuBOSE, Mr. R. C. KNIGHT and Mrs. ELIZABETH KELLY, all of this county. Married on the 16th at Cuba, Sumter County by REV. C. B. DuBOSE, Mr. JOHN KENNARD and Miss SALLIE J. BURTON, all of this county. Died in Livingston on the 24th, Mrs. AMANDA KENNARD, wife of JAMES P. KENNARD in his 59th year. September 3, 1870 Died on September 13, 1870, Mrs. CHRISTINE, wife of Mr. J. W. PHILLIPS of this county in her 32d year. The deceased was born in Demopolis, Ala. August 22d, 1839. She was left an orphan at the age of 14, but was fortunate in finding a friend who cared for her with true parental affection until her 14th year, when her protector died. She married in Feb. 1857. October 7, 1870 Married on the 29th by REV. A. R. SCARBOROUGH, DR. D. HENAGAN and Miss KATE ETHRIDGE, all of this county. Tribute of Respect: Livingston Lodge #41 mourns death of ABRAM LARKIN and sends condolence to the widow and fatherless. October 14, 1870 Died on the 4th at Cuba in this county, Mr. D. V. PATTERSON aged about 60 years. October 21, 1870 Died at the family residence in North Sumter, Ala. on the morning of the 5th of consumption, AMANDA F., wife of S. P. TOMPKINS in her 42nd year. KNIGHT aged 2 years 11 months and 22 days. October 28, 1870 Married at the residence of the bride's father on the 20th by REV. W. H. PASLEY, Mr. W. R. ARRINGTON and Miss LUCY BELL, all of this county. Married on the 12th by REV. E. BELL at the residence of the bride's uncle, C. P. WHITT, Esq. in Dallas County, Mr. E. N.
