BEESLEY of Ouachita, La. and Mrs. KATE VAUGHAN of this county. Died at the residence of her father, WM. P. GOULD on the 8th after a short illness, ELLEN, wife of P. W. PARKER of this place... Leaves a husband and a little son. November 25, 1870 Married on the 17th by REV. B. M. EMANUEL, Mr. MOSES MARX of Mobile and Miss REBECCA ZIMMERN of Livingston. The Eutaw Whig of the 18th says: "On last Thursday night, Mr. STEPHEN COBB of this vicinity came to his death in the following manner...killed by a cow." The Greensboro Beacon says: "Mr. CHARLES JOHNSON, oldest son of Mr. ANDREW JOHNSON, an old and worthy citizen of Greensboro lost his life Tuesday. Horse ran away with him." December 9, 1870 Died on the night of the 30th inst. in Gainesville, Sumter County, Alabama, Mrs. REAVIS, wife of HON. TURNER REAVIS (38 NC). (Mrs. REAVIS, MARY S., 38 V.) December 16, 1870 Died on November 9th at the residence of her husband in Choctaw County, SUSAN LIGHTFOOT FLUKER, wife of C. S. WARD aged 18 years 4 months. Died in Sumter County November 27, 1870 of pneumonia, JOHN W. PHILLIPS aged 43. In less than 3 months, three of the family have died; the wife in September, a child in October and the husband as above stated. They have left a daughter twelve and a son ten... Previous to his death, he left the children to care of Mr. and Mrs. JOSEPH W. JENKINS... December 23, 1870 Departed this life at the residence of her husband near Livingston on the 10th, Mrs. SARAH L. LAKE, wife of T. H. LAKE, Esq. in her 35th year, daughter of M. C. HOUSTON, Esq. She resided in and near Livingston the greater portion of her life though for several years Mobile was her home...After the death of Mr. JAMES LAKE of Georgia, his children were confided to the care of the above... January 6, 1871 DANIEL L. AYRES (39 NC), an old and well known citizen of this place and for many years Tax Assessor died on Monday night. He had been ill for several weeks. January 13, 1871 Married on the 3rd at the residence of WM. H. JOHNSON near Butler, Choctaw Co. by REV. TURNER, Mr. W. F. GREEN of Holmes County, Miss, and Miss LINDA B. MURLEY of Choctaw, formerly of Livingston. At the same time and place by same, Mr. GEORGE E. JOHNSON and Miss BETTIE R. MURLEY, all of Choctaw, the latter formerly of Livingston. January 20, 1871 Married at the residence of Mr. ROBT. HATTEN in Tuscaloosa on the 28th by REV. G. H. HUNT, Mr. W. PENN LYNCH and Miss JOSEPHINE SPEAKMAN. NORA J. LAWLER, daughter of L. PARRENT in the 20th year died Dec. 10, 1870 near Brownsborough, North Alabama. Estate of NATHAN LOVE (38 V), deceased. HELEN D. NOBLE, administratrix. ROBERT P. NOBLE, administrator. Jan. 17, 1871.
