October 25, 1872 Died October 1st, TAYLOR BARNES born December 14, 1860, son of SAMUEL W. and HATTIE BARNES of Warsaw, Ala. November 15, 1872 Married on Wed. the 6th at the residence of the bride's father by REV. E. P. PALMER, Mr. RICHARD FELDER to Miss MARY E. MONETTE, all of Mobile. MAJOR GENERAL MEADE of Union Army died on 30th. Died on 8th at his residence near this place, Mr. JAS. BRANCH, JOHN SUMMERFIELD GREENE, for many years employed in the Counting Room of Mobile Register died suddenly on the 8th. Mrs. LOWERY, wife of REV. Mr. LOWERY, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Selma died in that city on the 3rd. Had been in ill health a long time. November 22, 1872 Died Saturday last at his residence near this place, Mr. THOS. A. JOHNSTON. Had been a citizen of Sumter and held office of County Treasurer for one or more terms. NASH (29 Nelson Co. Va.) and Mrs. LAMPETER NASH (27 NC). Born and raised in Livingston. Died in Sumter Co. Nov. 22, 1872, Mrs. MARTHA WATSON, wife of THOMAS F. WATSON (Gainesv.) aged 33.
