Mr. I. M. LANDSON(JOHN M. LANSDON on p. 51), an aged citizen of Butler County aged 94 was found dead about 2 miles from his home on the 14th. Greenville Advocate makes mention of his children. March 13, 1874 Died in this county on the 8th, THOMAS A. KENNARD (17 A, THOMAS 0. in Census), son of the late JAMES P. KENNARD (46 T) in his 41st year. DR. JAMES C. HOUSTON, formerly of this place but now of Mobile is spending a few days with Livingston friends. March 27, 1874 JOHN C. GILLESPIE, formerly of this place is living in Bryan, Texas. Died in Gainesville, Ala. March 16th, Mrs. DORA 0. HARRIS, wife of YOUNG W. HARRIS. Mrs. M. M. GARROTT of Marion has removed to Texas. April 3, 1874 Married in Meridian on the 22nd by Elder L. M. STONE, Mr. ELNATHAN TARTT and Miss DELIA WALKER both of Lauderdale, Miss. IN CHANCERY: FRANCES OLIVER versus JESSE OLIVER. JESSE OLIVER is a resident of Lauderdale Co. Miss, and is over 21. SARAH E. BOLTON, administratrix of M. F. BOLTON, deceased. April 10, 1874 Died in Sumter Co. Ala. on March 30 at the house of his father-in-law, Mr. MARK PARKER (25 A), EDWIN CHURCHILL GIBBS (6 A), oldest son of the late EDWIN (30 V) and LOUISA GIBBS (30 V). Born Feb. 3, 1844 and was married January 10, 1872 to Miss MARY PARKER. Cumberland Presbyterian. For a time, he was the chief stay of his widowed mother and her children. April 17, 1874 COL. W7 M. STONE, of Meridian (formerly of Livingston) spent a day or two here. Married at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. JOHN E. BROWN on the 14th by REV. J. B. HAMBERLIN assisted by REV. L. L. LURTON, Mr. E. B. LURTON of Clarkesville, Tennessee and Miss CLARA R. BROWN of Livingston. Married in Choctaw County on the 25 of March, BENJ. W. LANCASTER, youngest son of J. L. and A. C. LANCASTER to Miss ELIZA JOHNSON, youngest daughter of the late SAMUEL JOHNSON. (She is buried in cemetery at York, "Mrs. ELIZA H., wife of B. W. LANCASTER, b. Perry Co. Ala. BLASSENGAME NABORS (65 SC Shelby Co. Census 1850), for many years a citizen of Shelby County died on the 5th in Bibb County aged 87. May 8, 1874 Estate of EDWIN C. GIBBS, deceased. Notice to non-resident heirs: STITH GIBBS (2 A), ALICE SILLIMAN and her husband, W. A. SILLIMAN, CHARLES GIBBS and ANN GIBBS. MARY E. GIBBS produced the will for probate.
