Estate of JOHN P. EVANS, deceased. This day came THEODOSIA A. MOORING, executrix of will of J. A. MOORING, deceased and filed vouchers for final settlement of her testator's administration on estate of J. P. EVANS. A. G. SMITH, administrator de bonis non of NANCY E. SMITH, deceased. D. J. GAINES of Conecuh Co. was killed on the 15th by parties unknown. FELIX E. REID (14 A s of A. M. REED) of Butler Co. died on the 3rd from effects of accidental burn. GABRIEL MATHIS of Dale Co. is 91 and his wife is 86 and they have been married 64 years. MR. JAMES CUNNINGHAM of Mobile took an overdose of morphine on the 17th and died shortly afterward. December -4, 1874 Died at Brewersville Nov. 27th of complicated menlngetis and diphtheria, B. B. SEALE, JR., youngest son of B. B. and M. F. SEALE aged 2 years 7 months. Married on the 3 at residence of bride's mother in Livingston, by REV. A. J. COLEMAN, MR. W. K. PICKENS and MISS FANNIE W. SHORT, all of this place. Estate of NANCY E. HOUSTON, deceased. A. G. SMITH, adm'r. Married on the 25th in Kemper Co. Miss, by REV. H. D. WHITE, MR. J. J. GREENLEE of Sumter Co. and MISS CORA McCAIN of Kemper Co. Miss. December 11, 1874 Married Thursday Nov. 12 at the residence of the bride's father by REV. W. F. POND, DR. JAMES H. O'HARA to MISS ROSA WALTON, all of Choctaw Co. At the residence of the bride's mother on 9 December by REV. J. M. PATTON, DR. D. U. PATTON and MISS ALICE BOLTON all of Sumter Co. Died on 7 Nov. at his residence near Gaston in this county, SOLOMON WARD (39 NC, Greene Co. Cen) aged 64. Born in Carteret Co. N. C. and married in Greene, now Hale Co. Ala. ANN HALL (28 NC) a niece of ARCHIBALD HALL (58 NC, Sumter Co. cen), an old and respected citizen who lived for many years and died in Sumter Co. His wife and several children live to mourn his loss (see marriage in vol. 94, p. 32, m. in Greene Co., lie. dated 23 Dec., 1839). DILLARD, admr. December 25, 1874 Married on the 17th at the residence of the bride's father by REV. GEORGE BANCROFT, MR. J. M. ALEXANDER and MISS HELEN McALPINE, all of this county. Died at her home on December 15 after a short illness. CAROLINE M. CLARY, wife of LEONIDAS CLARY aged 34. Left a husband and 2 children. Tribute of respect to memory of WILLIAM M.
