A lady by name of PULLEN, aged 60 years of age committed suicide at Jemison (Chilton Co.) by overdose of laudanum. Married in Autauga County on the 19th, MR. W. T. DAUGHTRY and MISS M. M. HOUSTON. Married in Jefferson Co. on the 19th, MR. ROBERT F. WALKER and MISS BESSIE N. McADORY. February 3, 1876 Married in Greene County on the 17th MR. ALFRED TURNER and MISS MARY JANE LYLES. In the same county on the 20th, MR. J. T. BOUCHILLON and MISS BETTIE GILMORE. Married in Birmingham on the 25th, MR. JOHN C. HENLEY and MRS. ANNIE L. MATTHEWS. Also on the 16th MR. E. R. PALMER and MISS DORA HAGOOD. Married on Sun. 30th at residence of bride's mother by REV. J. C. FOSTER, MR. Y. H. FOSTER and MISS CORNILE FOSTER all of Tuskaloosa Co. News Items: MRS. CECELIA BOWEN of Mobile took an overdose of morphine, mistaking it for quinine on 24 and died. February 10, 1876 Died near Blount Springs, Ala. on 28 Jan. 1876 CAPT. VICTOR M. RANDOLPH (MRS. SUE WATSON, Chattanooga, in 1954 says VICTOR M. RANDOLPH was son of EDW'D BRETT RANDOLPH). Born in Culpepper Co. Va. July 24, 1797, was commissioned from that state a midshipman in U.S. Navy in the year 1814 and sailed under CAPT. STEPHEN DECATUR. He served with great credit during the fierce conflicts with the Algerine pirates that ended in their extermination. He was with the late CAPT. JOSIAH TATTNALL at the bombardment of Vera Cruz and caught the latter in his arms when he fell dangerously wounded by a Mexican missile.... For more than 40 yrs a member of Episcopal Church. His remains sent to Columbus, Miss, and interred by side of his beloved wife. Died at Brewton (Escambia Co.) on 29, MRS. REBECCA LOVELACE. Also at same place on 29, GEO. D. JERNIGAN on same day. Died on the 2nd near Selma, MRS. H. LANGFORD. February 17, 1876 Died in Selma on the 8th, MRS. MATILDA W. COCHRAN (45 NC) aged 71. Died in Selma on the 9th, MRS. CYNTHIA C. WARNER aged 87. February 10, 1876 Married in Greene County recently, MR. A. J. UPCHURCH and MISS N. A. LEE. At Alpine, Ala. on the 2, REV. J. T. TICHENOR and MRS. McGRAW. (In another item, REV.
