F. TURNER and MISS M. A. KEIRNAN. News Items: EBEN MATTHEWS, formerly of this city died in Selma on 15 of consumption aged about 22. Remains brought to Tuskaloosa and interred in the old cemetery. March 2, 1876 Married at Plantersville, Dallas County on the 17th ult., MR. J. R. RAWLINGS of Chattanooga and MISS A. J. HARVILL. MR. Died in Mobile on 17, JOHN KING, and old citizen. March 9, 1876 Died on 3 of typhoid pneumonia, W. K. MABRY in 34 the yr. KELLY MABRY served in Confederate army. Married in Uniontown on 22, MR. W. H. THOMAS and MISS SALLIE S. mcmurray. Married in Marion on 20, MR. WASHINGTON DOBBINS and MRS. MARTHA McGEE. Daily Dots: MR. JOE RICHARDS and MISS FOWLER were married in Northport last week. MRS. I. L. LAWRENCE died on 2, one of oldest and most highly respected ladies of Tuskaloosa. Funeral from Baptist Church Sat. Sorry to announce the death of MR. HIRAM PETERSON, father of MR. H. D. PETERSON. Died at his home about 16 miles NE of Tuskaloosa on Tue. last. He was one of the oldest citizens of the county, being about 80 years of age and was a soldier in Indian War of 1835.
