News Items: A lady 94 years old in Randolph Co. has a daughter who is 75. MR. LARKIN WILLIS died at Elmore, S. & N. Railroad on 19 from an overdose of morphine. May 4, 1876 Married in Hale County on the 25th, MR. ROBERT W. WITHERS and MISS MARY C. PICKENS. ALABAMA BEACON Greenesboro, Ala. January 16, 1847 Died on the 6th inst. in the 87th year of his age, JOHN PARR. MR. PARR emigrated from Fairfield District, SC to this state about twelve years ago and has since resided in this county till his death. He entered into the service of his country at the age of sixteen in the Revolutionary war and served two campaigns. No man has left behind him a more unblemished character. BETHUNE versus JOHN E. LITTLEFIELD held that act of Legislature exempting 160 acres of land from levy and sale was unconstitutional. Died in Selma on the 20th, MRS. HENRIETTA J.
