MAXWELL, an old and respected citizen of this place died Tue. W. P. STEDMAN killed ALBERT HUBBARD near Forkland, Greene Cobcause: whiskey. Married on the 22nd in Birmingham, MR. WM. VINES and MISS AMANDA NEWMAN. Died in Springville on the 23rd, MRS. LAURA FULTON of Elyton. July 27, 1876 Married in Calhoun Co. on 1, JAS. E. ADERHOLT and MISS ANNIE READ. In Mobile on 3, WALTER JONES of Selma and MISS JOHNSON. In Bullock Co. on 13, M. C. DAVIS and MISS S. G. BOZEMAN. Near Peaks Hill, Calhoun Co. on 8, OSCAR A. FINCH and MISS MARY E. MORRIS. Died in Henry Co. on 11th, JOHN PARKER In Mobile on 8th, BERNARD LUSCHER, SR. Died near Uniontown on 11, MRS. SUSAN J. POOL aged 54 Near Hanna Springs on 4, JAMES BROWN aged 92 Near Faunsdale on 17, MRS. ELIZABETH ALEXANDER aged 67 News : MR. MILES STEVENS of Hale Co. was killed by lightning a few days ago. He was a very poor man and leaves a widow and 7 helpless children. August 3, 1876 MRS. MARY NEILSON died at residence of her son, DR. R. NEILSON in Northport on Fri. 28. aged about 87. Body interred in the old cemetery on this side of the river. Married in Shelby Co. on 20, MR. JNO W. PAYNE and MISS LOUCILLA SEALE. In Selma on 25, MR. WARNER and MISS M. C. KINKLE.
