WALLACE was killed in Clayton by falling of a well bucket some days ago. August 31, 1876 News : On 18 MR. W. D. LORD living in Montgomery and a party went seining. MR. LORD Caught a fish and held its head between his teeth; fish jumDed down his throat producing death almost instantly. Died in Elyton on the 19th, MR. J. D. HUSH. Died in Jefferson Co. on the 22nd, MRS. SARAH NAVE. September 7, 1876 Died in Hale County of yellow disease on the 25th, MRS. KATE B. MOORE aged 23. Died in Eutaw on the 17th, MRS. E. F. CAMPBELL. Died in Eutaw, August 24th, MRS. REBECCA WHITE, aged 75. Died in Birmingham on the 31st, MRS. MARY HUGHES. On 16 in Blount Co. PROF. MANOAH V. HENRY and MRS. HENRIETTA B. VAUGHAN. News : A MRS. DEAN of Talladega Co. was killed a few days ago by a limb falling from a tree. MR. WALTER L. JOHNSON of Rocky Mount, Crenshaw, while ill with typhoid fever and insane with its effects, cut his own throat and died last week. September 14, 1876 Married at Christ Church in this city on 13, by REV. GEO. H. HUNT, MR. W. F. FITTS and MISS ANNIE SPILLER, all of this city. News : GEORGE SANDERS has moved to Pleasant Grove. Pickens Co. REV. B. W. BUSSEY, Pastor of Huntsville Baptist Church has resigned, with view of removing to Ga. September 21, 1876 News: Last week we recorded the death at hand of an assassin of POWELL BOLTON in Northport. On last Sat. night, MR. JESSE MABRY, an uncle of MR. BOLTON was assassinated at Blount Springs. Remains of MR. BOLTON were brought down on the train Mon. and buried in the old cemetery. September 28, 1876 Married at residence of bride's father on 21 by REV. MR. GOODWIN, MR. B. L. OWEN of Tuscaloosa and MISS TENNIE WATSON of Columbus, Miss. News : The father of our townsman, MR. JOHN PRITCHETT died in N.Y. a few days ago whither he had gone from his home in Iowa for medical treatment for dispepsia. He was about 70 years old. October 5, 1876 MR. JOHN R. MAXWELL was stricken with yellow fever and died in New Orleans while on a few days business trip. We extend to bereaved wife and relations our sincere sympathy. Telegram to MR. THOMAS MAXWELL. October 12, 1876 MR. LEMUEL B. PEEBLES, who resided near Union, Greene County, was killed a few days ago by kick of a horse. October 19, 1876 MRS.
