October 26, 1876 Married in-th is city on 25 by REV. G. H. HUNT, MR. ROBERT JEMISON and MISS GENIE SORSBY. MRS. PARISH, widow of the late R. C. PARISH, died on 18. MR. P was for several years Circuit Clerk and died about 18 mo. since. Two small children, girl and boy are left orphans. MR. PARISH'S brother, who resides in another state, will probably take them. MR. W(ILLIAM) A(LLEN) MILAM (45 SC), with 22 sons and grandsons of age, will all vote for TILDEN. MR. M. has 108 grandchildren (Moulton Adv) November 2, 1876 Married at Presbyterian Church in this city at 7% o'clock Wed. eve, Nov. 1, by REV. DR. STILLMAN, MR. JESSE M. MAXWELL and MISS SALLIE J. THOMAS, all of this city. News: COL. JOHN HARPER, formerly of Romulus neighborhood in this co. died in Morehouse Parish, La. of yellow chills about 1st Oct. COL. HARPER was a useful citizen of Tuscaloosa Co. for nearly half a century. Last request was that his remains might be laid to rest near his old home at Romulus. Married on the 30th October near the line of Tuskaloosa in Jefferson Co. by REV. N. W. BLALOCK, MR. ASBERRY CROWNOVER and MISS M. DENTON. November 16, 1876 FRANK BRADLEY, late Tax Collector of Dallas County, died in the penitentiary the other day. ISAAC MOORE, living near Uniontown, was murdered by unknown parties. November 23, 1876 State of Alabama-Tuscaloosa Co. Probate Court Nov. 5, 1876. Came A. H. SANDERS, JR., admr. of estate of SARAH E. SMITH and filed petition. SARAH E. SMITH died seized of certain real estate. It appearing from said petition that JOHN J. SANDERS, LYDIA A. LAWLEY, wife of ELISHA LAWLEY, GEORGE W. SANDERS, all over 21, and residing in Texas, and ASA D. SANDERS, petitioner, WILLIAM P. SANDERS, both over 21, THOMAS A. SANDERS, JAMES M. SANDERS, both under 21-last 4 residing in Tuscaloosa Co. are only heirs of said SARAH E. SMITH, dec'd. November 30, 1876 Register's Notice--Tuscaloosa Co. SENIE R. MARLOWE by next friend and husband NICHOLAS P. MARLOWE versus NEWTON N. CLEMENTS and EGBERT RUSH CLEMENTS, executors et al. Early CLEMENTS, defendant, is a non-resident--resident of Miss, and is over 21. December 7, 1876 Married on 23 near Marcumville this co., MR. J. T. LONG and MISS MARGARET LUNCEFORD. December 21 1876 Married in Mobile at residence of bride's mother on Thursday, Dec. 14, by REV. DR. BEARD, DR. WILLIAM SMALLWOOD and MISS SALLIE SULLIVAN.
