Married in the vicinity of Greensborough on the 15th inst., MR. JOHN HILLHOUSE to MISS JANE LAWSON. Died near Washington, Autauga County, Alabama on the 9th, MR. JAMES B. MATHEWS, clerk of the County Court aged 31. Died on the 9th inst. near Montgomery, MRS. MARGARET wife of COL. JOHN TAYLOR in her 61st year. Died suddenly of apoplectic fit between Stanton and Warm Springs, MAJ. DANIEL SHEFFY of Augusta County, Virginia. January 8, 1831 Married at the University by REV. MR. KENNON on Tuesday evening last, COL. ELISHA YOUNG, Representative from Perry County in the legislature to MISS MARTHA STR'JDWICK of Hillsborough, N.C. On the same evening in the vicinity of this place by REV. MR. WILLIAMS, MR. P(HILIP) P. WRIGHT to MISS S(OPHIONA) MITCHELL. January 26, 1831 Died at Indian Queen Hotel in this place on the 21st inst., MR. JAMES WEBB of Limestone County. THOMAS J. ABBOTT, attorney-at-law February 9, 1831 Died on Thrusday morning last, MRS. Died at her residence in Halifax County, Virginia on the 15th MRS. DOROTHA WINSTON, widow of the celebrated PATRICK HENRY. Her last husband was the late JUDGE EDMOND WINSTON. April 13, 1831 Married Thursday last in Marengo County, Alabama, MR. MATTHEW PARHAM to MISS ELIZABETH M'FARLAND. Died recently in Florida whither he had repaired for recovery of his health, MR.
