Died at MRS. HERBERT'S in this city on Monday evening last of influenza, HON. URIAH GRIGSBY, Member of the House of Representatives from Dallas County. He was born in Newberry District, SC on 14th January, 1799 and died aged 40.
Died Thursday 10th January at Woodlawn in Greene County in 19th year MRS. SUSAN CAROLINE, consort of DR. A. D. POPE.

Obituary:
Killed on night of 28th ultimo by a pistol shot through the head, MR. MICHAEL DAILY, a native of Ennis, County Clare, Ireland aged 28 years. Left a wife and one orphan child. He was a Catholic.
Died Monday 28th Jan 1839 of a protracted illness, MRS. MARGARET WILSON, wife of WILLIAM P. WILSON, principal of North Tuscaloosa Female Academy. Affectionate consort and mother.

Died A. L. R. THOMPSON, Esq. by accidental discharge of his own gun, while hunting. Native of New York, where he was born 17th May, 1816. Recently a member of the profession of law. Member of Presbyterian Church.
