September 15, 1841 Died at his residence near this city on Tuesday evening the 14th inst. MR. P. B. HEALY. September 22, 1841 (Communicated) Died on Tuesday evening at his residence in vicinity of Tuscaloosa of bilious feverm MR. P(ERCIVAL) B. HEALEY in 36th year of his age. MR. HEALEY was a native of County Carlow Ireland and for some time was a resident of this city. He was a son of well known integrity and also of industriuos and enterprising habits. He left a wife and interesting children. September 29, 1841 Married on 31st ult by the REV. J. C. KEENEY, MR. JAMES A. MONTGOMERY of Oaktibbeha County to MISS ASCENATH R. and daughter of COL. BENJN. WILLIAMS of Yallobusha County, Miss. Died on 18th inst. JULIA MARIA, infant daughter of CAPT. JAMES H. DEARING of this city aged 11 months. A slave belonging to estate of WILLIAM A. AIKIN, deceased, late of Madison County murdered a slave belonging to MRS. PHOEBE BLACKBURN of Madison County. 25 Aug. 1841. Reward offered for arrest of said slave. October 6, 1841 Information wanted concerning the children of JOHN and ROSANNA S. DIVEN, formerly of Winchester, Va. MR. DIVEN moved from Winchester to Knoxville, Tennessee in 1811 where on the 26th of August of that year, MRS. DIVEN died leaving two surviving children: MARY and SUSAN. MR. DIVEN shortly afterwards moved from Knoxville to Mobile, Ala. where he again married. The girls, MARY and SUSAN, who had been left near Knoxville were then taken on to Mobile, since which time their friend in Winchester having received no information from them, except that in a letter from MRS. ELIZA RAMSEY, dated Athens, Tenn. May, 1838 to DAVID DEADRICK, Esq. of Knoxville. They were referred to a MR. PHILIP or G. S. GAINES of Mobile, who MRS. RAMSEY said could give information concerning them. Should these children be living, information of importance can be furnished them. JOHN FLETCHER Winchester, Va. Aug. 25, 1841 (See our Vol. 92 p. 36 for lawsuit.) Died on 23rd inst. MRS. FRANCES SCOTT CRENSHAW aged 22 years 2 months and 17 days, the wife of MR. J. W. CRENSHAW. Died in 19th ult. THOMAS T. son of MR. ELIJAH and MRS. MARTHA WILSON, of Selma in 16th year of his age. Died on 15th ult. at residence of MRS. MARY BOYKIN in Dallas County, MRS. MARY C. BOYKIN in 23rd year of her age, wife of BURWELL BOYKIN, Esq., of Mobile and daughter of the HON. ELI SHORTRIDGE of Talladega. Died at his residence in Clarke County on 21st ult. HON. JOHN MURPHY aged 56 years. MR. MURPHY served two terms as Governor of Alabama and was subsequently a Representative in Congress from that District. October 13, 1841 Obituary: Died at the residence of her uncle, C. A. CHANDLER, Esq., in Columbus, Miss, on Sat. morning the 25th ult. MISS MARIA C. GOFFE aged 12 years and 14 days.... Died in this city on Saturday last of whooping cough, aggravated by influenza, CHARLES FOX aged 2 years, son of HON. JOHN J. ORMAND. While the family of DR. ALFRED MOORE of Madison County were returning home, a large limb from a tree, killing a daughter of DR. MOORE, aged 6 or 7 years and the driver. Administrator's Notice: Estate of FRANCES CROWLEY, deceased of Fayette County, R. H. POE, admr. October 20, 1841 Died in North Tuscaloosa on 15th inst. of an attack of fever, THOMAS B.
