JONES, deceased, late of Tuscaloosa County granted to RICHARD COLE. Died at the residence of MR. L. B. PIPPEN in this place on 18th inst. at 8 P.M. MR. JAMES P. GLEASON of bilious fever, after a lingering illness of 23 days. Aged 28 years ...Philadalphia papers requested to copy. November 24, 1841 Tribute of Res p e c t: Death of AMAZIAG DUDLEY HARGROVE, who died 18th inst. at the residence of his uncle, MR. DANIEL J. HARGROVE in Pickens County in his 19th year. Many years ago, he published "The Press" at Cahawba and was State Printer before the removal of the seat of Government. Died at LaGrange House in this city on 20th inst. DAVID WHITE, Esq., of the city of Mobile. On his way to the seat of Government, he became exposed to weather and took cold, which was the immediate cause of his illness, though he labored under a slight affection of the liver. Died at the residence of his brother in Irwinton, Barbour County on 17th inst. of Typhus congestive fever, HARVY BUFORD, a youth of 14. December 8, 1841 Married in Bibb County on 2d inst. by CHARLES H. COLLIER, Esqr., MR. A. R. P. CONWILL to MISS SARAH WOOD, all of that county. December 16, 1841 Died in Tuscaloosa on 9th inst. REV. RANDOLPH STONE. He was sick about three weeks of bilious fever. MR. STONE preached for a number of years on the Reserve during its early history. He was one of the most efficient members in prepatory measures, which led to erection of Wester Reserve College. He was editor of the new Ohio Observer for several years.
