August 31, 1842 Married on Tuesday the 9th instant by REV. WILLIAM A. SMITH at the residence of DR. N. LYON in Perry MISS HENRIETTA M. AIREY of Perry County, formerly of Philadelphia. Married in this county on Tuesday the 16th instant by REV. MR. WILLIAM HOOD, MR. JAMES ROBERTSON to MISS PERMELIA ANN SANDERS. September 7, 1842 Reward for the arrest of ALEXANDER COSSELIN, who murdered his wife, MARY A. COSSELIN in the city of Mobile on 11th of July last. Died at Pleasant Grove, Pickens County on the 31st of August, WILLIAMSON R. KING in his 32nd year. Death caused by wound received by fall from scaffold. Left a wife and six small children.... September 14, 1842 Married at New Britain, Conn, on the 24th of August by REV. CHARLES A. GOODRICH, Professor EDWARD D. SIMS, of the University of Alabama to MISS L. September 28, 1842 Obituary: Died in this city on Saturday the 24th instant, WILLIAM LOWNDES PARISH in his 20th year, eldest son of COL. WILLIAM G. PARISH.... Died in this county on the 19th instant, WILLIAM DUNLAP, Esq. aged 65 years, an upright and valued citizen. Died in Shelby County on Saturday the 10th instant of congestive fever, MRS.
