Died in Noxubee County, Mississippi on the 29th ult. MRS. CHARLOTTE M. MASSENGALE aged 24 years; after three weeks and four days illness of bilious fever. She was a resident of Gainesville and had gone on a visit to her father's with intention of returning in a short time.... Left a husband and one child. Note: JOHN W. MASSENGALE married in 1840 CHARLOTTE M. WEATHERED. See our Vol. 52) October 5, 1842 Died in this city on the night of the 28th of September of bilious fever, CLARISSA CRANE KNAPP, wife of the REV. NATHANIEL C? KNAPP, formerly of Brooklyn, Long Island, aged 30 years. October 19, 1842 Married in Huntsville on the 10th inst. by REV. THOMAS MADDIN, MR. WILLIAMH. SMITH, Editor of the Tennessee Telegraph to MISS MARY JANE GLASCOCK of said place. Died at Fairfield, Pickens County on the 5th instant at the residence of her father, WILLIAM D. STONE, MRS. ELIZABETH ANN IVY, consort of MR. BIRD IVY in her 17th year. Died at his residence near Trussel's Ferry on Beckbee River in Greene County, Alabama Sunday the 9th instant, MR. RICHARD HATTER, aged 62. He was amongst the first settlers of this section of the country, having emigrated from South Carolina to Greene County in 1819. Died in this county on the 15th ult. ROBERT WALKER, Esq, in his 75th year. Native of Georgia and had resided in Tuscaloosa County for the last 23 years. For the last forty years he was a member of the Methodist Church...Was public spirited and useful, a good neighbor and esteemed by all who knew him. A large and affectionate family mourn his loss .... Died on the 3d inst. at Benevola, Pickens County, MR. J. H. HARRIS.
