ELLIS CEMETERY (10) LOCATION: Sec. 9-2S-1W - W/2 SW NE NW. 1/3 mile north of Patterson Lane behind a farm home on the west side of Murphy Hill Road. ELLIS, MARY - Born Feb. 14, 1788 - died June 4, 1852 aged 64 years, 3 months, and 21 days. ELLIS, BENJAMIN - Born May 2, 1784, died Sept. 30, 1853 aged 69 years, 4 months, and 28 days. Census, Nov. 14, 1850: Ellis, Benjamin (66) Va., Polly Joseph Martha Eliza John (63) Va. (23) Ala. (19) " (17) '' (16) " farmer - $6000. ELLIS, MARTHA A. R. - In memory of Martha A. R. Ellis, born April 16, 1828, died March 23, 1854. Remember me as you pass by, as you are now, so was I, as I am now, so you must be, prepare for death and follow me. ELLIS, EMMA E. - Wife of J. F. Ellis, born at Lawrence C. H. S. C., May 10, 1834, died April 11, 1856. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord for their works do follow them. CLARK, OLIVER H. - Son of J. E. & S. C. Clark, born Dec. 18, 1883, died March 18, 1885. Gone but not forgotten. JONES, HULDA EMMA - Daughter of J. & M. J. Jones, born March 22, 1885, died July 19, 1888. Little Hulda is gone, for earth too fair. She is gone to Heaven, to blossom there. JONES - Infant daughter of J. & M. J. Jones, died Mar. 5, 1888, aged 1 day. GARNER, JOHN H. - Son of J. H. & W. R. Garner, born Oct. 25, 1869, died Jan. 5, 1875. TONEY, ANN ELIZA - Ann Eliza, wife of Elijah Toney, born Sept. 16, 1830, died June 26, 1869. Weep not for me. TONEY, ELIJAH - Died April 11, 1865. He has fought a good fight; he has finished his course; he has kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for him a crown of righteousness.
