FANNIE LEFTWICH, all of this county (d of JAMES & JULIA (HATTON) Landman-) Married on the 16th by L. M. DOUGLASS, Judge of Probate, MR. WILLIAM PEMBERTON to MISS JANE SCHRIMSHER, all of this county. Married on the 15th by REV. J. J. BURDINE, MR. PIPKIN EARP(?) to MISS MARY J. WILKES. Died on the 16th in this city, MRS. MARY LAUDER, wife of GEORGE LAUDER of the 33rd U.S. Infantry. March 23, 1869 Married on the 4th in Lawrence Co. Tenn., MR. A. T. WHITE, late of Ala. to MISS R. E. OLIVER of Lawrence Co. Tenn. MRS. ELLEN HUNT, wife of MRS. CHARLES H. HUNT and daughter of MR. and MRS. THOMAS W. WHITE of this place died near Grand Junction (Hardeman Co.), Tenn, on Friday. March 26, 1869 MR. ARCHELAUS M. BRADLEY died in this county on the 23rd at an advanced age. He was a well-known citizen, a skillful mechanic and possessed of considerable architectural taste and had been a successful builder. Man of good character, good sense and genial nature and in the earlier days of this section was a prominent citizen. (related to FRANK BRADLEY, N.Y. Public Library who said ARCHELAUS was son of ARCHELAUS & SUSANNA (LYON) BRADLEY who m 3 Feb 1980 Henrico Co. Va.) March 30, 1869 Married on the 29th at the Church of Nativity by REV. J. M. BANISTER, MR. THOMAS HELM of Jackson, Mississippi to MISS LAURA PATTON, daughter of MR. JOHN PATTON of this city. Married on the 18th at the residence of PARKS TOWNSEND, Esq. by REV. M. E. JOHNSON, MR. ED F. DOUGLASS to MISS LOTTIE COOVER. Died on the 28th in this county, MR. JAMES DAMASCUS aged 16. April 2, 1869 MR. ISAAC M. JAMISON, one of the oldest citizens of Columbia (Maury Co.), Tennessee died in that place last Wed. morning. April 6, 1869 Obituary: ARCHELAUS M. BRADLEY, Esq. was born in Charles City County, Va. December 17, 1796 and emigrated to this place in 1817, which was then Mississippi Territory. Formerly warden of the Penitentiary, Justice of Peace and for many years Secretary of Lodge, Chapter etc. of Free Masons in different parts of our state. He was once quite "well off," in fact, comparatively wealthy.... Did service in the war of 1812 in Virginia (although he never applied for a pension. Died March 23, 1869 aged 73 years 3 months and 4 days. April 9, 1869 Married on the 8th at the residence of the bride's father by REV. R. K. BROWN, MR. HENRY DELP to MISS BETTIE A. WARE, all of this city. (Parents of MRS. BOYD, MRS. E. C. LANDENS, JAMES DELP, Huntsville) (see obit of MRS. BOYD) Remains of COL. JOHN G. COLTART, who died in Tuscaloosa last year were brought home and interred in the graveyard here Wednesday with Masonic honors and the military band of 33 regulars supplied music. He was a good officer and soldier on the Confederate side. April 16, 1869 Died in this city on the llth(?), WILLIAM, infant of J. B. (or H?) and L(?) H. BUCKALEW aged 8 months.
