WILSON FARISS (s of DANDRIDGE--census) died on the 13th of congestion after a short illness. He was bom here on September 15, 1826, was a printer but for many years was a bookkeeper. Principal clerk in the Post Office at the time of his death. Emphatically an honest and good business man. Leaves a family and many friends. September 17, 1869 Funeral Notice--Friends of the late ALLEN COOPER and of JAMES L. and JOHN W. COOPER are invited to attend the burial of the former from the residence of J. W. COOPER this afternoon. MR. ALLEN COOPER died yesterday at his son's residence, MR. JOHN W. COOPER. He came here in 1819 and was in his 70th year. Member of M. E. Church and a respected citizen. September 21, 1869 CAPT. W. A. MAYO, who formerly resided here died in Munroe County, Tenn, on the 10th. 237 - (3537)
