W. & LUCINDA (GREENWOOD) QUINN), Esq. of Union Co. Ark. (Alfortzo m. Valeria) to MISS LENA SEVIER, eldest daughter of DR. BENJAMIN B. SEVIER of Baldwyn (Lee Co.), Miss, (gd of SAM'L SEVIER, son of GOV. SEVIER; Check 1850 census and Goodspeed Ark. history) Died on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1869 at the residence of MR. H. G. BRADFORD in this county of paralysis of the brain, MR. JAMES M. WILSON aged 52. MR. WILSON was bom in York County, S.C. and removed to Madison County, Alabama at an early age. In his decease, we lose a most estimable quiet, inoffensive and high toned gentleman. Died in this city October 31st, MRS. VIORA C. (she was VIRA C. STUBBS see Vol. Ill p. 83) wife of A(NDREW) J. BOLTON. Her disease was cancer against which she employed all the skill of physicians in vain. Member of M. E. Church. Died in Gadsden, Ala. on the 18th, EVA THERESA, infant daughter of R. B. and M. KYLE aged 6 mo. November 23 1869 Married on the 16th at the residence of MR. HENRY SHELTON in Jackson, Tennessee by REV. J. A. EVANS, MR. JOHN YOUNG DYSART of New Orleans to MISS MOLLIE ROBINSON of this city. November 19, 1869 Died in this county on the 17th, MRS. ELIZA JANE MANSON, wife of MR. W. W. MANSON and daughter of MR. A. J. SCHRIMSHER aged about 24. November 23, 1869 Died in this city on the 19th, MRS. RESA C. BRANDON (m. 1863 ROSALIE (CALDWELL) Christian d of DR. JOHN D. CALDWELL), wife of JOHN D. BRANDON, Esq. Died in this city on the 22nd, MISS MATILDA E. ERWIN aged 20. The friends of MR. and MRS. JOHN A. ERWIN are invited to the funeral of their daughter from the Baptist Church. November 26, 1869 Married in Tishomingo Co. Miss, on the 2nd by REV. W. S. McMAHON, MR. WM. M. ROSS to MISS JENNIE R. LEDBETTER, daughter of T. W. LEDBETTER, Esq. formerly of Fayetteville, Tenn. December 3, 1869 MR. FRANCIS J. LeVERT died here on the 30th after a short illness in his 79 year. Old citizen of Huntsville. Near Meridianville on the 1st, MR. ED S. DOUGLASS was shot and killed by B. R. THOMPSON, both well known citizens. MR. SAMUEL F. RICE died in Montgomery on the 30th. RUSSELL CAMPBELL was killed in Blount County, Alabama last week by WILLIAM DUNN. December 6, 1869 Married at St. Paul's Church, Spring Hill by BISHOP WILMER of Ala., MR. HARVEY E. JONES to MISS MARION WILMER, daughter of the officiating Bishop. December 10 1869 Married in Madison County, Alabama near New Market Tue. the 16th by REV. DAVID TUCKER, DR. JAMES C. FLYNT to MISS L. 0. GRIMMETT. Died in Memphis on the 1st, MR. ALBERT M. HINES, brother of CAPT. J. J. HINES in his 19th year. 239 - (3539)
