May 27, 1870 Married on the 18th in Huntsville by REV. M. B. DeWITT, MR. WILLIAM L. J. WINSTON to MISS MARY E. ENNIS. Died on the 17th of April 1870 of consumption, MRS. RUTH D. LANDMAN, wife of ROBERT LANDMAN in her 23rd year. We regret to state that BENJAMIN TYSON MOORE, Esq. died on the 25th at the residence of his brother, HON. WILLIAM H. MOORE of this place. Bom in North Carolina. Graduated at the State University there. 67 years of age and had resided in Huntsville about 45 years. Married at Church of Nativity June 1, 1870 by REV. DR. BANISTER, MILTON HUMES, Esq. to MISS ELLA LEE, daughter of Ex-govemor REUBEN CHAPMAN. Married on the 27th ult. in Pulaski, Tennessee at the residence of the bride's mother by REV. MR. McFERRIN, MR. CHARLES T. ROBINSON of this city to MISS DORA REYNOLDS of Pulaski. Married on 17 May 1870 by REV. M. PORTER in Tupelo (Lee Co.), Mississippi, MR. BRANHAM MERRILL to MRS. SUSAN A. SAMPLE. Died on 27 May 1870, MRS. SARAH ANN WILSON (nee GLENN) in her 32nd year. Consistent member of the Baptist Church, Step-daughter of MORRIS K. TAYLOR. Died at the residence of DR. H. A. BINFORD in this city on the 28th inst. MRS. LOUISA H. BURTON, relict of the late COL. THOMAS 0. BURTON of Henrice County, Virginia aged 67 years. She was a meek, gentle amiable old Virginia lady and communicant of the Episcopal Church. Died in Germantown, Pa. May 22, 1870, SAMUEL HAZZARD, formerly a highly respectable citizen of Huntsville and one of the original members of the Presbyterian Church of Huntsville. June 17, 1870 Married on the 6th inst. by REV. J. H. DRAKE, MR. JAMES M. GINN to MRS. MARY MARTIN (this county). On the 4th inst. by same, MR. GEORGE W. SMITH to MISS MARY MARCUM (this county) . Married on the 15th at the Church of Nativity by REV. DR. BANISTER, MR. GILBERT C. GREENWAY of Abingdon (Washington Co.), Va. to MISS ALICE WHITE, daughter of GEN. ADDISON WHITE. Died in this city on the 11th of consumption, MRS. ROSA B. O'NEAL, relict of the late JAMES O'NEAL in her 56th year. Affectionate and faithful wife, loving mother, kind friend and a true Christian woman. Tribute of respect--Pleasant Hill Sabath School--JOSEPH W. DURYEE, son of the late JAMES W. and MRS. MILDRED DURYEE of Huntsville, Ala. died at his mother's residence 5 miles Northeast of Huntsville on 13 May 1870 aged 17 years 5 months and 31 days. Left a widowed mother and two little sisters. Native of Virginia and resided here about 20 years and was 59 years of age. July 8, 1870 MR. ROBERT HAMLET, JR. died in this city on the 29th ult. July 15, 1870 Married on the 18th near Trinity by REV. A. L. DAVIS, MR. R. P. FORD to MISS ELIZA C. FULLER. Married on the 5th inst. by REV. R. J. C. HALE, HON. JAMES M. MORAGNE to MISS MARY HUGHES, all of Gadsden. Died on the 9th inst. at Johnson's Wells in this county. MRS. MARY R. BAKER, wife of L. E. BAKER and daughter of DR. C. A.
