TURNER-MALONE CEMETERY (13)
LOCATION: Sec. 12-2S-2W-NE SE SE NE. Approx. 2 Mi. SE of Madison Cross Rds.
Note: This is a most unusually constructed cemetery. It appears to be in two parts. The oldest part is at the base of a small hill and actually appears to be in an area which was scooped out of the side of the hill then the bank reinforced with a stone wall of beautiful workmanship. The Turner and Harden graves are on the top of the hill immediately above the others. This beautiful old sacred ground is presently being used as a trash dump by the tenants who evidently have no respect for such things. There are other graves here but the markers are gone.
TURNER, H. P. (Rev.) - Rev. H. P. Turner, boro February 3, 1814, died March 1, 1880. Mark the perfect man and behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace. Psalm 37.37.
TURNER, LUCY T. - Lucy T. Turner, wife of Rev. H. P. Turner, died March 25, 1897. Mammy.

HARDEN, MRS. A. E. - In memory of Mrs. A. E. Harden, born November 2, 1839, died Dec. 31, 1877. Blessed are the pure in heart, they shall see God.
Note: All of the following graves were within the "scooped out" rock walled enclosure and were box-type tombs. The above markers were marble uprights.
MALONE, HARPER- Sacred to the memory of Harper Malone born April 23rd, 1774, died March 18th, 1841, aged 66 ys., 10 Mo., and 25 days.
MALONE, NANCY - Nancy Malone was born Decr. 2nd, 1772 - died Novr. 30th, 1847.
FORD, SARAH ANN - Sacred to the memory of Sarah Ann Ford, born August 8th, 1812, died Dec. 26th, 1829 aged 17 years, 4 Mo., and 18 days.
